The union representing almost 1700 employees at SaskPower has a new collective bargaining agreement with the company.

SaskPower says they have agreed on a six-year package with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local 2067 on a six-year deal that retroactively begins on Jan 1, 2017 and runs until the end of 2022.

The agreement provides for a wage increase of seven percent over the six years with the final three years seeing a two percent raise.
