Saskatoon man fined more than $62,000 for 2019 impaired driving incident

A 31-year-old Saskatoon man who pleaded guilty to impaired driving and failing to provide a breath sample has been ordered to pay $62,155 in fines.

Riley Stretch was driving down the 300 block of Forrester Road on May 27th, 2019, when his truck flipped over after colliding with six parked vehicles.

It also caused damage to a wheel chair ramp of a home.

Stretch was not injured in the accident.

The judge ordered him to pay restitution to SGI to the tune of $57,155 dollars as well as a $5,000 surcharge.

Stretch also received a one year driving ban.
