Three teenagers are facing charges that include assault with a weapon after breaking into a vehicle early Monday morning.
Regina Police were called to the 2800 block of Abbott Road just after 1:00 a.m. after a man confronted the three teens trying to break into his vehicle.
The man says he was threatened with an edged weapon before retreating into his home, the three accused fled the scene on foot.
Police were able to track the suspects down a short while later with the help of a Canine Unit.
Officers recovered an edged weapon and stolen property from the complainant off one of the suspects.
As a result a 16-year-old boy, 15-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy are all facing charges that include assault with a weapon, theft and possession.
Police say no one was injured, adding the three youth will be in court on March 26th.
