Regina Police and Fire are investigating a house fire that took place at around midnight Saturday night on the 1400 block of Elphinstone street.

While no details have been provided on what may have caused the fire, a woman was found inside the residence while the fire was active. She was taken to hospital by EMS and treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police and Fire services are continuing their investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
