Frightening experience for Northern Ontario’s Krista McCarville after plane crash in Dryden Ontario

Two members of Northern Ontario’s team that were just in Moose Jaw for the Scotties were shaken up after a plane they were on crashed during take off.

Skip Krista McCarville, and  second Ashley Sippala along with their coach Rick Lang were flying from Dryden Ontario, back to Thunder Bay when the plane left the runway during takeoff.

No serious injuries were reported, but the three were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Northern Ontario lost in the 3 vs 4 page playoff game on Saturday.

McCarville told Thunder Bay media they drove home after being released from hospital.
