RCMP say alcohol may be a factor in two separate fatal snowmobile accidents on the weekend.

Friday night, Outlook RCMP attended to a single snowmobile crash in the RM of Fertile Valley where a 44-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.

Early Sunday morning, Rose Valley RCMP responded to a single snowmobile crash about two miles east of Archerwill in the province’s northeast on a snowmobile trail. In that incident, a 33-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.

RCMP are reminding all snowmobilers in the province to obey all trail signs and speed limits, wear proper snowmobile attire including a helmet and never ride impaired,
