Update: Regina man wanted for early-Friday aggravated assault charged by police

20-year-old Warren Crane was arrested by Regina police on Wednesday.

He has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and failure to comply with conditions of release order.

Crane makes his first court appearance on Thursday morning.

Regina Police are searching for a wanted suspect in connection to an aggravated assault that took place early Friday morning.

Police were called to the 1400 block of Rae Street at about 4:00 AM for a report of a weapons offence. Officers found two women who were injured. One of the women had suffered a stab wound after attempting to intervene in an apparent struggle between the 21 year-old victim, and a 20 year-old man who is now a wanted suspect.

Warren Crane of Regina then fled the scene, but is wanted on several charges. He has numerous tattoos, including multiple on his face, and is about 6’0″ with a medium build, light complexion, medium-length brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Crane’s whereabouts is asked to contact police or crime stoppers.
