Regina firefighters respond to two house fires

The Regina Fire Department attended two separate house fires in different parts of the city on Wednesday.

Both blazes were put out by firefighters in the afternoon.

Fire Marshal Randy Ryba said one started on the 100 block of Nagel Crescent in the Glencairn Village neighbourhood, while a second was on the 1400 block of Athol Street in North Central.

Investigators are currently gathering information on the incidents.

“We’re backed up on three different investigations at once now, so these ones will probably not be completed until Friday,” mentioned Ryba.

“The two that happened today, we’re still processing [one of the fires] and a little bit more from the days gone by here.”

No injuries have been reported from the fires.
