Elections SK gives Wexit Saskatchewan registered party status

There are now six registered political parties in Saskatchewan.

The province’s chief electoral officer says Wexit Saskatchewan has completed the requirements to become a registered political party.

Wexit Saskatchewan, who is advocating Western Canadian separation, has said if they were to gain official party status that their plan would be to run candidates in all provincial ridings in the next election whenever it may be called.

Premier Moe continues to say Saskatchewan voters will go to the polls in October, but he remains coy on whether or not he will call for the vote to happen earlier.
