Changes coming to Regina schools regarding hours because of job action by teachers

Regina Public and Catholic Schools are letting parents know about a change in hours as teachers prepare to take job action effective Thursday.

With teachers not arriving until 15 minutes before the start of the school day, it means supervision will not begin until then with supervision stopping 15 minutes after the day ends

Parents are asked not to drop off students any earlier than 15 minutes before the bell rings and to pick them up no later than 15 minutes after the day ends.

Supervision will be provided during regular school hours and lunch and all scheduled student transportation will continue as usual without changes.

Schools will inform parents and guardians of any changes to this temporary changes to school schedules when available.
