Touchdown Atlantic 2020 sold out

When the Touchdown Atlantic game between the Toronto Argonauts and Saskatchewan Roughriders is played, it will be in front of a sold out crowd.

The neutral site game being held on July 25 sold out the day after tickets went on sale.

The game will be played at Huskies Stadium at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, which will be expanded to fit about 10,000 fans. The CFL is also exploring options on how to expand seating even further due to the response from fans.

In a news release, CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie says “Our incredible fans from every corner of the country have come together to deliver the league a clear message: that Canadian football has a home in Atlantic Canada.”

The game will be preceded by a three-day ‘mini Grey Cup festival,’ along with a series of media events and community visits from both the Roughriders and Argonauts.
