COVID-19 virus dominates early debate in the Saskatchewan legislature Thursday

The first case of the covid-19 virus in Saskatchewan dominated early debate in the provincial legislature Thursday.
Opposition leader Ryan Meili says there are large gaps in the readiness to deal with the epidemic.
He says his concern is based on discussions with front-line health care workers.
Health minister Jim Reiter accused the NDP of fearmongering and says the medical community is prepared to deal with covid-19.
Reiter says the virus will strain the medical system but the NDP should not inflame the public.
