Event aimed at inspiring youth happens in Regina Thursday

An estimated 3000 students  from schools throughout Regina and area will be at the Conexus Arts Centre Thursday for an event that gives a platform for inspiring stories, showcases local talent, and inspires youth to take action to foster better communities, locally and globally.

Passion2Action INSPIRE is designed to give a platform for inspiring stories, showcases local talent, and inspires youth to take action to foster better communities, locally and globally.

Organizer Jonah Toth says this will hopefully show Regina’s youth that there are some incredible people locally doing incredible things and that they are people that you can look up to.

Some of the speakers include Chief Cadmus Delorme of the Cowessess First Nation, Michaela Kleisinger from the University of Regina and Grade 12 student Sabah Sharif who came to Canada in 2016 from Syria and has found a new life in Regina.
