SARM president worried about federal readiness for COVID-19

SARM president Ray Orb is worried the federal government is not ready for the COVID-19 virus.

Orb says a promise of one billion dollars from the Prime Minister is welcome but is not sure if it is enough.

Orb says some provincial agencies may be short of supplies and cash and he has not seen a good national plan of control for the COVID-19 virus.

Orb says the U.S. appears to have a more comprehensive plan to control COVID-19 than Canada.

He spoke in an interview at the SARM convention, which wraps up Thursday in Regina.
