SIGA not planning on closing casinos due to COVID-19

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority is taking steps to address the coronavirus outbreak.

In addition to Health Canada guidelines including proper hand sanitation, SIGA casinos are doing things like increasing the frequency of cleaning on high-touch areas, posting signage to stress proper hand-washing and cough etiquette and adding hand sanitizers.

SIGA is not, for now, closing any of their casinos.

SIGA operates Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton, Bear Claw Casino on the White Bear First Nation, Living Sky Casino in Swift Current, Golden Eagle Casino in North Battleford, Golden Horse Casino in Lloydminster, and the Dakota Dunes Casino just south of Saskatoon on the Dakota Whitecap First Nation.

When visiting any of the casino websites, a pop-up will appear that includes a full list of what to expect at their locations for COVID-19 preparedness.
