Farmers express support for Sask government’s efforts to control COVID-19

Farmers in Saskatchewan are showing support for the SaskParty government’s effort to control the coronavirus outbreak.

The Premier has declared a state of emergency, closing casinos and gyms and limiting public gatherings to less than 50 people.

APAS president Todd Lewis says the measures are necessary to ensure public safety.

Lewis says the government declaration is not an over reaction because many people have died from the covid-19 virus.
