Regina police are doing what they can to ensure public safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, but Chief Evan Bray says there are some things you may want to know as those efforts continue.
In a video put on the social media pages of RPS, Bray speaks about some officers who are being redeployed.
“Our school resource officers and our community engagement unit, as of this weekend, will be out on the front line in the city of Regina helping our citizens and helping keeping them safe,” Bray said.
Bray adds you may see frontline officers looking a little different as well as they are being equipped with protective gloves and masks in case they are needed.
