Sask. RCMP officer tests positive for COVID-19

A Saskatchewan RCMP officer has tested positive for COVID-19.

RCMP say the officer, stationed in Prince Albert, was notified on March 25th that they may have come into contact with the virus.

The officer immediately self isolated as per the direction of give to everyone by the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Police say the officer was tested on Saturday, and then notified the results were positive.

They are now following all protocols being enforced by the provincial government.

RCMP did not say how severe the officers symptoms are.

RCMP are following all recommendations made to them by the Saskatchewan Heath Authority.
