Moose Jaw Police have arrested a man on his outstanding warrant for attempted murder.

Police located and arrested Shaun Robinson at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday hiding in a motel room on Athabasca Street East in Moose Jaw. He was taken into custody without incident and will attend court on April 1.

MJ officers also arrested a Punnichy man on numerous warrants. He was charged with possession of stolen property over $5000 after police located a stolen vehicle on scene.

Throughout the investigation police also seized a firearm that matched the description of the firearm used in the incident.
