Stabbing results in attempted murder charges for 28-year-old Regina man

Regina Police have charged a 28-year-old man with attempted murder after a stabbing Sunday night.
Around 8:00 p.m. officers were called to the 1700 block of Winnipeg Street, where they found a 44-year-old man at a nearby residence who had been stabbed.
The victim was taken to hospital by EMS, with non-life threatening injuries.
Police surrounded the house and arrested 28-year-old Lewis George, who was charged with attempted murder.
Lewis is set to make his first court appearance Tuesday morning.
