Regina Police are asking people to be vigilant and report people who are not following public health orders throughout the pandemic.
“Our police service is working diligently to help keep our community safe, and part of that has been digging into investigations of alleged breaches with regard to the public health order,” said Regina Police Chief Bray.
The public health orders put in place by the provincial government include a mandatory 14-day self-isolation period when returning from travel, and bans on gatherings of more than 10 people.
Bray says it’s important that everyone is well aware of these orders.
“I do encourage you to have these conversations with family and friends on the important pieces of this lawful public health order,” said Bray.
Bray also urged unison in helping stop the spread of COVID-19.
“As good community partners, let’s work together to try and limit those gatherings, that’ll of course help us flatten the curve as we go forward,” said Bray.”
