The group High Valley is back with a new song that continues in their vein of positive, uplifting, and thought provoking music that has made them a fan favourite across Canada. Their latest song is titled ‘Grew up on That,’ which is slightly differently from what they have normally sang about.

“We have spent so much time, as you know, talking about how High Valley grew up without radio, High Valley grew up without TV, without McDonald’s, and not like we hate talking about that stuff, but we’re just getting a little sick of it,” explained singer Brad Rempel. “It’s so exciting for us to have a song about what we grew up with, stuff we grew up having, instead of not having.”

The autobiographical song about life in La Crete, AB  is found on a new E.P. the High Valley brothers plan to release on May 8th, also titled ‘Grew up on That.’ In our interview we talked about the new project, about a very personal song from Rempel for his son, and about the life and legacy of Joe Diffie. We also learn how his family is doing during this COVID-19 pandemic.
