The 12 year-old boy that started the costly fire at the Regina north Walmart in December has pleaded guilty to arson.
The fire was set in the paper products aisle and caused that Walmart location to remain closed during a normally busy Christmas season. It reopened a month after the fire was set.
The youth also pleaded guilty to uttering threats pertaining to an incident at Ruth Pawson School on October 30th.
Sentencing will proceed on April 28th. The youth will remain in custody for the time being.
