Trudeau and Premiers discuss data sharing and pandemic projections Thursday night

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a more-than two hour long teleconference meeting with the country’s premiers to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic.

Data sharing, co-ordination and projections were all critical items on the agenda.

A federal official said there was also a consensus among first ministers that Trudeau need not invoke the Emergencies Act just yet.

As for making public any data and projections, Premier Scott Moe expects that to happen early next week, Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he will release his province’s predictions on Friday.
