Employee at Saskatoon McDonald’s and Sobey’s Liquor Store test positive for COVID-19

A McDonalds restaurant worker in Saskatoon has tested positive for COVID-19.

The restaurant was shut down on Sunday, and will be cleaned and sanitized by third-party cleaning experts.

Health officials will make a decision as to when it will re-open.

A worker at a Sobey’s Liquor Store in the Bridge City also tested positive for the Coronavirus in late March.

That store was also deep-cleaned before re-opening.
