The federal conservative party says aid to small and medium size businesses in Canada isn’t flowing fast enough.
To address the situation, tory finance critic Pierre Poilievre has proposed a plan to get the aid moving faster.
“We today propose that the government make the wage subsidy available next week to small businesses through their banks and credit unions,” he said.
The plan also proposes lifting the $40,000 cap on the emergency business account to pay for wages.
