Saskatoon’s SaskTel Centre remains in ‘top shape’ during COVID-19 pandemic

There are still a couple of May concert dates on the books at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, but the talent involved is also planning for the eventuality that the shows could be nixed in the face of COVID-19.

SaskTel Centre’s Scott Ford says there are no answers as to when they can throw the doors open to the public again. But when they are given the green light, they are ready to go.

Ford says they have a small team of custodial employees working shifts in the building continuing to clean, and this is after having a team sweep through to clean all the high traffic surfaces like chairs and arm rests and counters.

He also notes that their understanding is that COVID-19 can only live on a static surface for a couple of weeks so he is pretty confident they have a well-sanitized building.
