It has been a challenging Sunday afternoon for Regina firefighters.

They were called to the Loraas Disposal Services building on the 600 block of McLeod Street around 3:30.  Upon arrival, heavy smoke was coming out of the building.

A strong wind did pose some challenges, but it appeared as if things were under control by 5:15 pm.

It appears as if there are no injuries.

A cause and a damage estimate are not known at this time.
