Regina man arrested after flashing pellet gun at a motorist

Regina Police surrounded a residence on Sunday afternoon and arrested a man after a report of a firearms offence.

Police were sent at 3:30 p.m. to the area of Albert Street and 5th Avenue. Information from the incident suggested that a man in a vehicle pulled up next to a motorist and flashed what was believed to be a gun after being closely followed down Albert Street.

Officers later located the suspect vehicle parked at a home on Wells Street and had all occupants of the residence exit the home.

A search determined that the firearm was a pellet gun found on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

23-year-old Christopher Walter Krock faces charges including assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and use of an imitation firearm during the commission of an indictable offence.

He will make his first court appearance on June 29.
