RCMP respond to 78 COVID-19 related calls for service this week

It was a busy week for RCMP in Saskatchewan, as they responded to 78 calls for service related to COVID-19.

From April 17th to the 23rd, RCMP responded to 43 complaints of gatherings of more than 10 people and eight complaints of people failing to self-isolate when allegedly required to do so.

One charge has been laid in connection to a violation of the Saskatchewan Public Health Order.

While the RCMP says COVID-19 remains a priority, they also say officers are responding to other calls for service as well.

As the weather starts to improve, the RCMP is reminding residents to continue to practice social distancing and to do their part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
