Agribition organizers say this year’s show will go on

Whether or not it becomes reality is not known, but organizers of the Canadian Western Agribition say this year’s show planned for November 30-December 5 at Evraz Place will go on.

The news comes in an open letter.  That letter says the show, which will celebrate its 50th year in 2020, has withstood recessions, droughts, washouts, booms & busts, BSE, early frosts, late harvests and other things and they have always gotten through and persevered.

The letter ends by saying as long as there is Canadian agriculture, there will be Canadian Western Agribition.

The news comes as many wonder about the future of Canada’s Farm Show which is scheduled to go June 16-18 at Evraz Place with many feeling a cancellation is on the horizon because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
