Two barns are no more after a grassfire on the city’s eastern outskirts Saturday afternoon.
The Regina Fire Department were called just before 1 o’clock about the grassfire which was spreading.
Upon arrival, they found the barns ablaze. Both were older buildings.
A nearby home was threatened, but work by firefighters prevented the grassfire from reaching it.
There were no injuries.
A cause is not known, but Regina Fire is cautioning people that conditions are perfect for grassfires.
