Regina Mayor adjusting to working from home

It has been a difficult adjustment for some workers in the Queen City who have had to work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even Regina Mayor Michael Fougere has had to change how he completes his daily tasks while continuing to lead the city.
He says it’s different for him to be at home a lot of the time.
“I spend a lot of time on the telephone, in conference calls,” said Fougere. “And I’m on social media a lot, and I’m certainly looking at calls with the administration all the time, doing city council by remote, and committees by remote.”
Despite all the restrictions in place during the pandemic, Fougere still takes part in city council meetings from city hall, and he continues to provide city updates even if it’s delivered online from Henry Baker Hall.
