Four new cases of COVID-19 in SK; 14 more recoveries

For the first time in almost two weeks. the daily  amount of those recovering from COVID-19 is greater than the amount of new cases.

Four new cases were reported Monday by the Saskatchewan government.  The four, all in La Loche, bring the provincial total to 568.

14 have recovered putting the provincial total at 363 with 199 cases still considered active.  Of those 199, 151 are in the Far North region.

11 people remain in hospital with three of those 11 in intensive care–all in Saskatoon.

The Saskatchewan government is also saying with an outbreak at the Lloydminster hospital being stable, the city can proceed with Phase 2 of the ‘Re-Open Saskatchewan” plan.
