Battlefords RCMP have launched a homicide investigation, after the body of a 20-year-old man was found in a backyard at a residence in North Battleford on Saturday.

When police arrived they determined the man was deceased, he’s been identified as Damian Moosomin, who was reported missing on May 11th.

RCMP say the death has been deemed suspicious and a homicide investigation is now underway.

An autopsy is taking place in Regina on Tuesday.
