A seventh person has died from COVID-19 in Saskatchewan.
The resident was in their 60’s and lived in the northern region of Saskatchewan.
The provincial government made the announcement this afternoon, along with 21 new cases of COVID-19.
16 of the new cases are in the far north, four in the north, and one in Saskatoon.
Of the far north cases, nine are located in La Loche and six are in Beauval.
Of the 620 total cases in Saskatchewan, 120 are considered active after 24 people recovered. A total of 494 people have recovered.
Four people are in hospital, including three being treated in ICU. All hospitalizations are in Saskatoon.
41,951 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the province.
