Saskatoon man arrested for child porn

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) has charged a Saskatoon man with child pornography offences in relation to an investigation that began in December 2019.

On May 21, members of the Saskatchewan ICE Unit executed a search warrant at  a residence in Saskatoon. Child pornography was located at the residence and two cellular phones, two laptops, two external hard drives, and a cloud account were seized for further analysis.

37-year-old Steven A. McEwen was arrested and has been charged with 2 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and Make Available Child Pornography.

McEwen appeared in court Thursday and was released from custody on numerous conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court again on August 10th.
