Engelheim Charter, known for being the official carrier of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Regina Pats, Dolphins Swim Club and Regina Red Sox, has acquired Moose Mountain Bus Lines.
Engelheim moved from the Lipton area to a brand new state of the art facility in Emerald Park, just east of Regina in August of 2016, and has reported steady growth ever since.
The company has also been offering heavy duty mechanic services for buses and trucks, as well as heavy duty safety inspection and certification services.
Along with carrying some of the province’s most well known sports teams, Engelheim also transports Sask Express and K+S and Rocanville Potash Mines.
Now added to the list with this recent acquisition are Westworld Tours, the Regina Thunder and U of R Athletics.
Moose Mountain Bus Lines operated in Regina, but was owned by John Fehr Enterprises in Winnipeg.
Engelheim CEO Shane Engel , said in a news release, they are essentially bringing a Saskatchewan company back home with the acquisition
Most current Moose Mountain employees will retain jobs, and current contracts will also be retained, Moose Mountain Tours will continue to operate from the Emerald Park Location.
