Province announces $17-million in upgrades for Universities and Polytechnic campus in Moose Jaw

On Wednesday the provincial government announced that $17-million will be going towards significant construction projects are post secondary institutions in Regina, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon.

The province says $2.5-million will go towards a roof replacement at the University of Regina’s College of Kinesiology.

Meanwhile the majority of the funding, $12-million, will go towards the renovations of several buildings at Moose Jaw’s Saskatchewan Polytechnic Campus.

The remaining funds will be used for lighting and field upgrades at the University of Saskatchewan’s Griffiths Stadium.

This investment is part of the province’s $7.5-billion, two year stimulus package announced on May 6th.
