Man charged with attempted murder after Tuesday night stabbing

A 34-year-old Regina man is facing charges of attempted murder after an incident Tuesday night.

On June 2nd, around 6:15 pm, Regina Police responded to a weapons call on the 1100 block of Queen Street. When police arrived, they found a woman with stab wounds. Her injuries are serious, but not life-threatening.

A man was seen walking away from the scene and was arrested without incident. He was in possession of a knife.

34-year-old Justin Robert Pelletier has been charged with attempted murder, and the possession of a weapon.

Pelletier made his first court appearance Wednesday afternoon.
