Bike lanes coming to Park Street

The City of Regina has committed to putting in bike lanes at Park Street between Douglas Avenue and 17th Avenue East.
It’s part of the Park Street Rehabilitation and Bike Lane Project that will cost the city roughly one-point-eight million dollars. It will include the city’s first bi-directional bike lane.
City spokesperson Shanie Leugner says this helps the city move forward with their plan to promote active transportation in Regina.
Construction has already begun in the area. It should be complete by the middle of September.
