The Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission is re-starting services.
This week Journeyperson examinations and psychoeducational assessments will be scheduled again.
Apprentices and tradespeople whose exams were cancelled as a result of COVID-19 will be first to have their exams rescheduled.
The province says exams will take place at third-party locations to ensure there is sufficient room for physical distancing.
Resuming face-to-face counter services for clients will be the next step, and will happen later in the summer.
Apprentices will complete the theoretical portions of their training online and the hands-on, practical components on campus in a shop setting.
SATCC offices are still closed to the public, however staff members can be reached over the phone at 1-877-363-0536 or email at apprenticeship@gov.sk.ca.
