Man and woman from Yorkton area facing drug trafficking charges after Tuesday arrest

A man from Canora, and a woman from Yorkton, are facing numerous charges of drug trafficking after being arrested earlier this week.

On June 30th, members of both the Regina Police Service and Yorkton RCMP arrested 52-year-old Linda Becker and 46-year-old Kyle Robert Foreman.

Two search warrants were executed, one on a vehicle and another in a hotel room on the 3800 block of Eastgate Drive in Regina. Police seized numerous items, including two firearms, ammo, currency, body armour, and drug paraphernalia. Substances believed to be fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine were also seized.

Becker and Foreman have been jointly charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, tampering with a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and the unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle.

Becker is facing additional charges of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000,

Her and Foreman were also charged with 2 counts of possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order.

The duo made their first appearance in court Thursday morning.
