Motorists are being advised to use an alternate route early Friday morning if needing to travel on Highway 709 west of Moosomin.

RCMP say crews are on the scene of a serious single vehicle accident that took place late Thursday afternoon, about 18 kilometres west of Moosomin.

No other details are available at this time, police say more information will be provided when the road is re-opened.
