Re-live the Riders 2019 season with “Reunited in Green” starting Sunday

There may not be any Saskatchewan Roughriders games to celebrate or commisserate with right now, but 620 CKRM is hoping to spark some memories for you starting Sunday.

“Reunited in Green” will see eight games from the 2019 season be re-broadcast on Sunday afternoons throughout July and August with a special twist. You will not only hear the call from Derek Taylor and Luc Mullinder, but you will also get the thoughts of the players and coaches.

“It will involve looking back at last year and looking at the biggest moment by adding the perspective of guys and their thoughts about what happened.” Taylor said. “The players and coaches were very co-operative and revealing about everything. It’s an in-depth look at the team that we love.”

Taylor, who spoke with many players and coaches, are hoping fans can take one thing away from the broadcasts.

“I hope they gain some thought into how much goes into football decisions and plays and how great these players are.”

The first game on Sunday at 3 will be Cody Fajardo’s first start.  That was a Week 2 game in Ottawa against the REDBLACKS that didn’t result in a victory, but showed a lot of promise.   Game time is 3 o’clock.
