One person is dead and four injured after the vehicle they were in rolled into a ditch on a grid road which was closed for construction.

The accident happened Sunday afternoon just east of Highway 6 near Regina.

A 51-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. Two 21-year-old men were transported to a Regina hospital by STARS with injuries said to be serious and life-threatening while the 23-year-old man who was driving and an 18-year-old man suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.

An investigation into what exactly happened continues.
