Saskatchewan Health Authority warning of possible COVID-19 transmission in Lloydminster

An advisory is being issued by the Saskatchewan Health Authority after a person who tested positive for COVID-19 visited some places in Lloydminster when they were likely infectious.

The SHA says the person visited the Good Knight Inn and the Superlodge Motel along with Walmart and Superstore in border city between June 27 and July 5.

Anyone who may have been at those places in that time frame are being told to self-isolate if experiencing symptoms and to get tested.

The authority is also letting people know about an increase in cases in Prince Albert.

As a result, visitations are being restricted at all long-term care homes and the Victoria Hospital.
