Suspect wanted for second-degree murder in North Battleford found in Alberta

A Saskatchewan murder suspect has been arrested by Strathcona County RCMP in Alberta in relation to the death of 38 year-old Todd Stone.

Back on May 12th of this year, Battlefords RCMP responded to a head trauma incident in North Battleford. The victim was taken to hospital in Saskatoon, where he was later declared deceased.

RCMP issued an arrest warrant for 32 year-old Michael White of the Sweetgrass First Nation. It was first believed he was in the Lloydminster area.

White has now been charged with second-degree murder. He has been transported to North Battleford, and is set to appear in court Thursday.
