Two Regina women are facing charges of forcible confinement, robbery with violence and extortion following a lengthy incident involving a 22 year old woman.
The two accused and the victim knew each other.
Police says the victim was tied up, assaulted numerous times and robbed of personal possessions and a vehicle on Monday July 6th.
The woman was able to escape from a house in the 12 hundred block of Elphinstone street after being held and assaulted overnight and then left alone.
The two women facing charges are 32 year old Amanda Twardy and 36 year old Shanette Bigknife.
