The Assiniboia RCMP are reminding the public to not give out any of their private information over the phone, including our date of birth, banking information, or Social Insurance Number.

Several phone scams are currently going through the Assiniboia area involving the misuse of your Social Insurance Number and/or a warrant for your arrest. These phone calls are scams and should not be responded to.

Many of the scam phone calls are displaying as local Assiniboia phone numbers and claiming to be police.
